We are currently recruiting graduate student research assistants interested in pursuing a PhD in Biomedical Engineering (BME) or Geomatics Engineering (GEO). Our open positions focus on research in Digital Health, Health Informatics, and Artificial Intelligence. These positions are expected to begin on January 1, 2025 or earlier.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's and MASc degrees in Biomedical Engineering, Geomatics Engineering, or a related field.

• Research experience in applying machine learning to sensor data analysis.

• Experience with accelerometer and GPS data analysis is a plus.

• A strong record of academic publications is highly preferred.

• Strong work ethic and the ability to independently drive research projects.

• Minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale over the last two years of full-time study.

• Must meet the admissions requirements for the desired academic program (PhD in GEO or BME).
