Mackenzie Wallich received her BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary. During her undergraduate years, she was heavily involved in summer research roles focused on wearable technology data analysis.
This interest in human-centred research and wearable technology inspired her to pursue an MSc in Biomedical Engineering. She has the privilege of working on an ongoing collaborative project with the University of Zurich, where her research focuses on extracting digital phenotypes of aging from GPS data. Alongside her research, Mackenzie is passionate about teaching, as demonstrated by her experience as a swim coach and teaching assistant.
