Rashmita Chatterjee is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Biomedical Engineering at the Schulich School of Engineering, University of Calgary. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, India, and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Manitoba. During her PhD, her research combined human-centered game design, virtual reality, and usability evaluation to develop engaging tools for cognitive rehabilitation in individuals with Alzheimer’s disease. In her postdoctoral work, she is expanding this research toward early Alzheimer's disease prediction by integrating wearable devices with digital health interventions for aging populations.
