I’m Yna Arpon, a final-year Biomedical Engineering student at the University of Calgary with a passion for developing software solutions in the biomedical field. Throughout my undergraduate journey, I’ve pursued this passion through internships in start-ups and research labs. I’ve had the privilege of building brain-controlled applications to enhance the independence of children with cerebral palsy, as well as leading a research study on the role of gait in fracture healing. Currently, I am thrilled to conduct my undergraduate thesis at the Healthy City Lab, where I am exploring randomness in driving parameters as a potential indicator of Alzheimer’s disease.
